Please be sure to carefully read the terms and conditions below. If you agree to the terms and conditions, all the services of SelZone.se will be fully afforded to you.

General Requirements

The Classified ads section of SelZone.se is laid out in a specific arrangement, so as to be best utilized in a certain way.

Acceptance of Conditions

The following acts indicate complete and unconditional acceptance of SelZone.se’s Terms and Conditions:

·      Accessing the User account once established

·      Placing advertisements on the Site to sell, purchase, or rent goods or services

SelZone.se reserves the right to modify the Site in any way, at any time. These Terms and Conditions are permanently available for reference at any time, via the following link.

Personal Data Collection and Use

A User of SelZone.se consents to personal data being collected by the accessing of the Site and/or the filling out of forms on the Site. This personal data is collected and processed in order for the Site to function optimally, as well as for direct marketing.

SelZone.se reserves and respects, without prejudice, the following regarding User data collection:

• The Provider’s right to access data

• The Provider’s right to collect and process data with respect to information obtained

• The Provider’s right to retain collected data

• The User’s right to object to personal data processing

• The User’s right to request data deletion

• Both Parties’ right to go to court in the event of a disputation concerning the above

Description of Service

SelZone.se is an online marketplace site in which Users can place ads to buy, sell, rent, or simply search among existing ads.

Changes in Services Offered

SelZone.se reserves the right to modify in any way the services offered on the Site. As previously stated, these Terms and Conditions are always available for reference. SelZone.se reserves the right to terminate User access to the Site, and will notify the User by email, and any payment provided in advance for goods or services will be returned to the User.

Attempted Fraud or Misrepresentation

Users of SelZone.se may report any ads they suspect as being fraudulent to Site administrators. SelZone.se reserves the right to not publish or otherwise suspend users suspected of fraud or misrepresentation at Administrator’s discretion. If fraud or misrepresentation can be proven, Advertisers may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

you are concerned with fraud attempts, contact us. Using the contact form, you can report any fraudulent behavior and we will take a closer look at the ad. If it is fraudulent, we will immediately take down the ad. Unfortunately, that’s all our company can do. We are very limited in how we can move forward on these matters and if you are a victim of fraud, you will need to contact the authorities. Aside from that, remember to stay safe when browsing our site.

Indemnification

Users of SelZone.se are accountable for the indemnification of the Site in any case of a third-party claiming compensation for User-produced content or because Users have acted in violation of Site Terms and Conditions, or of other third-party rights or applicable laws.

Private vs. Company Accounts

Accounts may exist for private individuals, or for Company use, dependent on the manner of use and agreed upon terms with SelZone.se in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

Verification for Company accounts may take up to forty-eight (48) hours, as registration and approval are conducted through applicable channels. SelZone.se reserves the right to decide if an advertisement falls under the category of Business.

Advertisement Validity Period

Advertisements will be valid for ten (10) weeks from the date of its initial publication. The validity period may be extended for an additional ten (10) weeks several times, and the ad may – for an additional fee – be placed back to the top of the advertisement list so as to receive the same visibility as it had when first published.

Payment 

The following payment methods are utilized by SelZone.se:

• Debit/credit card

• Swish

• Credit package

Debit card / Credit card

To guarantee our advertisers high security, we accept the following cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Swish

To ensure that your Swish account is only used with your permission, you need to identify yourself via the BankID app in connection with Swish payment.

Credit Packages

Users may purchase Site credit packages which can be uploaded to their SelZone.se account in predetermined increments. Credit may be used to upload or promote advertisements on the Site and may be added to the User account from the Site Credit Upload section.

Bonus credit is offered for all credit packages on the Site dependent on the amount purchased, with the exception of the 200 SEK package. Credit package amounts are listed in the table below:

Credit packages remain valid for three (3) years and carry the possibility of an extension.

Credit – either purchased or bonus – is nonrefundable and is invalid outside of the ABC.com Site. Additionally, credit may not be exchanged between ABC.com users.

Returns

Users of ABC.com automatically waive the typical fourteen (14) day right of return, as Services paid for begin immediately upon receipt of payment (e.g. the publishing or modification of ads on the Site).

Compensation

As previously stated, ads unable to be posted on ABC.com due to technical issues will be refunded.

Free of Charge

Donating items instead of selling them? Typically our website would charge for ads when individuals and businesses are trying to sell items. However, we do make an exception if you are donating items. For profiles that are posting items for donation, we do not charge for publishing ads. You should be aware that we do keep an eye out for ads that abuse this. For those accounts that consistently abuse these ads that are free of charge for donations, this violates our terms of service and we will act accordingly. If you suspect that someone is in violation of this or using their ads in a fraudulent manner, please let us know.

Be aware that ads for donated items will be removed after 2 weeks.

Favorites

Additionally, Users may save search terms to their Favorite list (e.g. video games) and be alerted when ads are added that fit the saved criteria.

Copyright

The entirety of SelZone.se including image, text, graphics, code, user-generated ads, and all other audio/visual content featured on the Site are protected under applicable Intellectual Property and Copyright laws. No part of the content of the SelZone.se Site may be reproduced, retransmitted, or otherwise copied without the express written consent of SelZone.se and/or their legal representation. Non-compliance with these standards may result in prosecution under applicable laws.

When Users post content to the Site, they are responsible for ensuring that the content does not infringe upon any third-party’s intellectual property rights. Additionally, Users transfer all rights to the Site in regard to the post, thus allowing SelZone.se and its affiliates to make the posting available for public consumption either on the Site or by other means (e.g. billboards, television, radio, etc.)

Limited Liability

While SelZone.se makes every effort to provide Users with a high-quality experience but cannot and do not guarantee the absence of errors, technical difficulties, or similar occasional experiences.

Users are solely responsible for the content accuracy of the ads posted, as well as for the quality and quantity of goods and services offered. SelZone.se assumes no responsibility for damages or consequences – either direct or indirect, intended or unintended – as a result of interactions between Users based on listings housed on the Site and any incorrect data or content found in posts.

Further, SelZone.se plays no direct role in the transactions that take place between Buyers and Sellers, and thus, holds no control over the transaction except through the in-Site payment service, Payment Through ABC. Buyers must never assume the validity or legality of a good or service based on its posting on the Site.

In the event of a conflict between parties, contact SelZone.se and Administrators will seek to reach an agreeable solution in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Should an amicable solution be unreachable, Users reserve the right to appeal to the appropriate court.

Zero Tolerance User Conduct

SelZone.se holds a staunch zero tolerance policy for abusive behavior, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Discrimination

• Racism

• Threats

• Bullying

• Harassment 

Upon reporting of potentially abusive behavior, SelZone.se will investigate the matter. If deemed necessary, SelZone.se Administrators will close the account of the offending User.

Account Eligibility, Registration, and Cancellation

SelZone.se is open to and intended for use by individuals and/or legal entities at least 18 years old and with acceptable mental capacity to utilize the Site as intended.

Accounts on SelZone.se are free and are created by registering a valid email address and password. By registering an account, the User verifies that they meet the age requirement. Multiple registrations using the same email address are not permitted. It is recommended that User authentication data be kept confidential and strong enough to prevent potential data breaches.

If a User wishes to unsubscribe from their account, they must send the Site an email indicating their desire to unsubscribe. Once a User account is deactivated, the Site reserves the right to retain information about User posts for up to twelve (12) months post-deactivation, and may disseminate the information to appropriate parties, if and as requested, in accordance with privacy policies.

Further, SelZone.se cannot and does not guarantee the removal of deactivated search results in search engines, as the Site holds no control over indexing.

As previously stated, SelZone.se reserves the right to edit, delete, or simply refuse publication of any ad that does not meet the Terms and Conditions set forth in this document, as well as to suspend or block any User whose posted content does not comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.

Advertisement Publishing

Users of SelZone.se are responsible for posting advertisements that are free of fraudulent information or other misrepresentation, and that comply with applicable laws. As previously stated, the SelZone.se Administrators reserve the right to reject an ad if fraud or misrepresentation is suspected, or if ads do not comply with the Site’s Posting of an Ad rules.

Advertisements are subject to inspection by Administrators for compliance to all applicable rules and laws, and for content prior to potential publication at the Administrator’s discretion.

If an ad is rejected by SelZone.se, the paid amount is refunded to the Advertiser, regardless of rejection reason.

Publishing an Ad

In order to publish an ad, Users must have an authenticated SelZone.se website account, and entirely complete the form that generates via the Add Ad button. Users ought to use real contact information so that they may be contacted in good faith by potential Buyers of their goods or services. Users may make their phone number hidden from viewers of their account at their discretion.

Submission of an ad to SelZone.se implies agreement and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Posting Rules

In order for SelZone.se to remain a place of pleasant marketplace interaction, Site Administrators work tirelessly to review/approve/applicably deny publications as efficiently as possible. To avoid the removal of ads, Administrators have created selling guidelines for Users to refer to and bear in mind.

• Only goods and services in this country may be advertised on the Site. Exceptions are made for real estate (e.g. apartments, houses, vacation homes).

• No illegal or illicit products are allowed to be advertised on the Site.

• Goods and services not in compliance with applicable laws are not permitted to be advertised on the Site.

• Products that may be used in illegal activities or considered as promoting illegal activity are not permitted to be advertised on the Site.

• Stolen goods are not permitted to be advertised on the Site.

If Site Administrators become aware of advertisements containing the above, SelZone.se reserves the right and obligation to notify the proper authorities.

Prohibited Goods and Services

The following is a non-exhaustive list of goods that are not permitted to be advertised on the Site:

•      Slot machines

•      Copies and counterfeits

•      Pornography

•      Sex toys

•      Medicines

•      Medical devices

•      Pharmaceutical products

•      Shares

•      Medicines

•      Explosive goods

•      Lottery

•      ID documents

•      Tobacco, alcohol & drugs

•      Air weapons & electric shock weapons

•      Ammunition

•      Lost property, lost salary or related compensation

The following is a non-exhaustive list of services that are not permitted to be advertised on the Site:

•      Credit assistance

•      Massage

•      Brokerage service

•      Tattoo

•      Childcare

The above list is continually updated and is available for Users to reference.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

All Users must ensure that their offered goods and services are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Language

Ads are to be posted in Swedish and English and use clean language.

Duplicate Posts

Duplicate posts are not permitted on the Site. Only one (1) ad may be posted by the same User for the same good/service. Products sold wholesale or in bulk must have that detail in the description.

Vehicles and Real Estate

For ads concerning vehicles or real estate, only one (1) product may be featured in a single ad.

External Links

Do not include external links inside ad postings. Site Administrators reserve the right to delete links to outside websites.

Discrimination

Posts that discriminate against users based on race, nationality, language, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, or any other protected class will be denied publication.

Advance Payment

Advance payment is not permitted on the Site.

Shoes and Clothing

Articles of clothing produced from vulnerable animals requires a permit from the Swedish Board of Agriculture. If the permission has been granted, it must be made clear in the ad. Failure to do so may result in a violation of applicable laws.

Photos or videos of models in only underwear or swimsuits are not permitted on the Site.

Animals

Ads concerning animals must comply with CITES provisions and any applicable animal protection laws or regulations. Users also must ensure that certifications are available upon request. Failure to do so may result in a violation of applicable laws.

Guns

Only properly licensed guns and guns manufactured prior to 1890 not intended for gas-tight device cartridges are permitted for sale on the Site. Licensing requirements must be clearly stated within the ad.

Slot Machines/Online Casino/Gambling Products or Services

Any gambling goods or services are not permitted on the Site, as they could potentially contribute to a gambling addiction.

Ad Titles and Descriptions

Ad titles must only describe the good or service being advertised. A complete description of the good or service must be in the advertisement text, and no external links, copied language from other advertisements, or misleading keywords are allowed, in accordance with the copyright language set forth above.

Real estate ads must contain the type of property, number of rooms, and area measurements in the case of buildings. In the case of parcels of land, the area must be listed.

Ads concerning any type of vehicle must contain the vehicle’s make and model.

Items a User wishes to exchange against must be designated in the ACCEPT EXCHANGE textbox, not in the Description textbox.

Images

Images must be representative of the good or service being advertised, reflecting the current condition of the advertised product or property. Images containing watermarks, logos, or any other designation that could be construed as marketing material are not permitted on the Site. Images must be free of restrictions and must not infringe upon any third-party’s intellectual property rights as set forth above.

Accepting Exchanges

Users that wish to accept exchange offers must designate it by marking the ACCEPT EXCHANGE checkbox and listing the items in the EXCHANGE AGAINST field.

Reposting Ads

Ads that are deactivated for the sole purpose of reposting the same will be rejected. However, Users have the option of reactivating their deactivated ad under the Disabled Ads list.

Modification of Ads

Modifications to ad's content after publication will always be possible at no extra cost during the ad's validity period.

Advertisement Promotion

Three (3) types of promotional “packages” exist:

Category Page Promotion

• The ad is displayed at the top of the applicable category list

• The ad is tagged as a “promoted” ad

• Priority moderation, meaning that ads in this section are approved before others.

There are three (3) available positions for “promoted” ads to appear inside each designated spot of each category. Should the number of “promoted” ads be greater than the positions available, algorithms will display each randomly whenever the page is refreshed, to ensure each “promoted” ad receives the same amount of exposure.

Ad Page Promotion

• The ad is displayed in a banner on the right-hand side of the applicable category list

• Priority moderation as the ads in the category page promotion.

There are two (2) available positions for “promoted” ads to appear inside each designated spot of each ad page. Should the number of “promoted” ads be greater than the positions available, algorithms will display each randomly whenever the page is refreshed, to ensure each “promoted” ad receives the same amount of exposure.

Home Page Promotion

• The ad is displayed in one (1) of twenty (20) positions on the SelZone.se homepage when viewed on the desktop version of the Site.

• Algorithms change the position of the Main Page each time the page is refreshed, to ensure each ad receives the same amount of exposure.

• Ads displayed on the SelZone.se homepage will not be tagged as “Promoted” ads

• Users may purchase multiple forms of promotion for the same ad.

Users of SelZone.se may promote ads as described above, assuming that the ads conform to Site Terms and Conditions. As previously stated, SelZone.se reserves the right to refuse to run an ad, and if a promotion fee was paid, the amount will be refunded.

In the event the User deactivates a promoted ad before the promotion period expires or is removed from the Site due to Terms and Conditions violations or repeated reports of unacceptable behavior, the promotion fee paid for the ad will not be refunded.

In the event the good or service indicated in a promoted ad has been sold, the remaining days in the promotional period cannot be used toward the promotion of another ad, nor is the cost of the unused time refunded.

Promotional ads are shown on the SelZone.se website as quickly as possible, In the event technical difficulties or other unanticipated circumstances prevent the display of the ad after payment and review by Site Administrators, the promotion fee paid for the ad will be returned.

Company Account

Company Account (Basic)

When you create an account with us, you gain a great deal of benefits. You can create your business account for free, which includes

• Your own company page with all of your contact information so that customers can have an easier time getting in touch with you.

• Your own logo on your company’s profile on the company’s ad pages.

Company Account (Premium)

If you want more than just these basic benefits, you can get a premium package for a fee. The biggest benefit of signing up for a company profile is that you can reach a massive audience of millions of people, growing your brand faster. Plus, consumers will love the convenience of going to the site and seeing what you have to offer and how to contact you. In addition to the features that are included in the basic business account the premium package includes:

• Your own company page that includes your contact information as well as an appealing cover image.

• With the premium package, you get up to 35 bonus days.

If there is a case of declaration of violation of rights, we will delete the concerning content as soon as possible.

Thus, we are not accountable for any content on these 3^rd party websites nor are we accountable for the consequences of the existence of these links. The provider or operator of this aforementioned content is the person responsible for their website content. The website links on our site are reviewed prior to being published for violation of rights content. However, sometimes illegal content is not recognizable and is missed. When informed of links that violate our guidelines, we will remove them as soon as possible.

All ads on our site is available for public viewing. The servers for our site is located in the European Union, meaning that if you provide us with your personal information you are consenting to this information being transferred and stored to and on our servers.

Our website collect and stores the following information:
